Partnering with the talented 9-year-old gelding Qonquest de Rigo, the duo delivered a super round in last Saturday’s $750,000 Rolex U.S. Equestrian Open CSI5 Grand Prix in Wellington*, securing 5th place in the young geldings first-ever five-star international Grand Prix against a world-class field of 40 entries.
The Belgian-bred warmblood showed his exceptional talent, with just one rail down early in the jump-off. However, he was the fastest of the 4-fault combinations, clinching an impressive top-five finish.
