Bertram and Buddy take brilliant podium finish in 5* ROLEX Grand Prix
Bertram & Buddy ended a spectacular season in Wellington with a podium finish in the $500,000 Rolex CSI5* Grand Prix during the final ‘Saturday Night Lights’ of the 2023 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at Wellington International.

Olympic course designer Guilherme Jorge (BRA) set a challenging track for 40 contenders during the Rolex-sponsored finale week of WEF, with a total of seven moving to a tie-breaking jump-off.
Richard Vogel took the win in 40.53 seconds. Bertram and Buddy were in hot pursuit stopping the clock in 40.60 seconds with one unfortunate down. Roberto Teran Tafur (COL), who passed the finish line nine seconds slower, jumped clear to finish as runner-up.
