The Irish team has been selected by High Performance Jumping Manager Jessica Kürten following an impressive run of performances throughout the 2026 season. The squad brings together championship experience, proven five-star form and consistent results, making Ireland one of the leading contenders heading into one of the sport's most prestigious events.
The Irish squad for the FEI World Jumping Championships consists of:
- Bertram Allen with Qonquest De Rigo (Rex), owned by Aloga Stables
- Darragh Kenny with Eddy Blue
- Cian O'Connor with Chatolinue PS
- Shane Sweetnam with James Kann Cruz (ISH)
Denis Lynch, with Vistogrand, has been named as travelling reserve, while Daniel Coyle with Gisbourne VDL, and Jordan Coyle with Chaccolino have been selected as non-travelling reserves.
